I tore the ligaments in my ankle about 6 years ago in a baseball game, and every time I take a step with that foot it pops. It is a little painful, but more than that it is just annoying. I am trying to train to run a 10k race, and it really bothers me when I run. Any suggestions, or is it just something I have to deal with for the rest of my life? Thank you for your help!
How long can you stand/ballance on one leg (each leg)? If there is a substantial difference with the injured leg you may need to work on flexability/ pro-prioception. How are your front and over head squats? Flat heals/*** to the grass? Address these issues and see how the ankle works in a few weeks.
