I try to follow a basic paleo diet, along with my crossfit training. Could you recommend additional protein and/or amino supplements that would assist in muscle growth, recovery, etc.
Supplements i would suggest in order of importance:
1) High quality fish oil
3) Alpha lipoic acid
Currently I do 1 very consistently and 2&3 occasionally. I have done about everything imaginable have garnered the best results of my life following crossfit for a work out and a version of the zone which is a bit lower carb. Save the money on most supplements and buy a chest freezer and stock it full of GRASS FED meat! You simply will not believe the results you will get...I would not have believed it a year ago and am still shocked at the results I am getting. This in a life which has been very stressful and chaotic...less than optimal for growth and recovery...but things still continue to improve.
