core exercises?
I get told sometimes that my core is weak and I want to work on that so what kind of exercises can I do to strengthen my core? Thanks.

ditto what Jamie said about heavy back squats and deadlifts. Throw in some good form overhead squats and you'll be on your way.

gymnastics will get your core in insane shape and there are countless variations that will make an "easy" exercise much harder.

overhead squats. there is nothing better. check out coach's video "what about abs" in the exercise and demo page.

but really, pertty much every movement in CrossFit involves maintaining rigidity (i hope i spelled it right) of the core. so just keep doing CrossFit with the right technique and you're core strength will improve drastically

Trying to isolate your core and strengthen it that way is useless. Countless reps of direct ab work is also useless.

Heavy squats are your best bet....deadlifts, anything overhead like was mentioned.

'core' exercises are a gimmick, IMO.
