sorry i wasn't clear... i was referring to your muscle up post...

yeah.. it seems a bit far away at the moment for me.... got my rings the other day, and damn just trying to hold on to them was hard!!! :ranting2:

that's one of the best things about crossfit. it shows you your weakness, and then shows you how to overcome it!!

Or as Matt calls it...'Rhabdo Day'

Five rounds for time of:
2 pood Kettlebell swings, 25 reps
25 GHD Sit-ups
25 Back Extensions
25 Knees to Elbows

38:49 Rx'd

Don't know what a good time for this is...and I'm not talking crappy range of motion either but I'm just happy I got through it. Holy Mackerel![/QUOTE]

Good Lord!
Looks like a good time to me.
That might actually be a WOD I can do - go the 2 pood bell, but no GHD. I'd have to sub 50 abmat sit ups for the middle 2 exercises.
Might have to try this one over the weekend!

:highfive:

Once you get used to ring dips they feel the same as bar dips.

Benchmark Saturday at the ol' affiliate...

'Elizabeth'
21-15-9
135# Full Squat Clean
Ring dips

did this with the squat clean just to do it...I came up on my toes a few times but that was only when I didn't get my elbows up high/quick enough.

Time
12:47 PR!!! (First time ever doing this one)

Didn't have time to post yesterday...

Today was an 'active' rest day.
Did a light warmup so I could be limber to run the group class as well as the 5:30 and 7:30 intro classes.

Rugby practice. I'm such a wuss. I got hit for the first time and I think I have a runaway rib on the left side. feels like a constant 'stitch' like what you get when running while dehydrated...

Anyway...Lots of sprints, pushups, situps, some burpees etc...

Press
10 - 42
5 - 62
3 - 92
1 - 135
1 - 145
1 - 155
1 - 160 (PR)

Push Press
3 - 155
3 - 165
3 - 170
3 - 175
3 - 177

Push Jerk
5 - 165
5 - 170
5 - 175
5 - 180
5 - 185 (F) On the 2nd rep. Felt a bit of a twinge in my right shoulder and dropped the weight on the 2nd rep. Seems okay...just didn't want to mess around.

What a monster of a workout.
