We've never done any powerlifting and need to get some instruction before trying to clean for time. I have to say this is the first time since I started Crossfit that I actually feel rested after a rest day. Usually I'm still really sore from past workouts...

I still feel totally lame for not being able to do real pullups :mad:

Today we did Chelsea modified to go every 1:30 for 20 minutes (really ended up being 19:30 should have done 21...)
Jumped Pullups, all else as Rx'd

I think I pulled my hamstring doing the squats. The back outside of my knee is very tight and very sore. I iced it right after but it's still weak today. I'll do something else today beside running until in settles down.

End of week 2 for me. Still need tons of work on pull ups and push ups. We both played hockey at lunch. Legs were kinda dead from yesterday. I think we need to work out in the morning the day before we skate, particularly if it's leg intensive. My knee is feeling much better today. I'm going to try warming up with DL's to see how it goes. Going to go light for E as she has never DL'd before. Lots of practice sets first...

Great workout! I was wrecked by the end. First DL workout so we started with warm up sets to work on form.
CFWU x3 (pushups instead of dips)
35# x5 DL
55# x5 DL
85# x5 DL
135# x5 DL (Nick)

N - 135# DL 40# DB SP - 6:08
E - 85# DL 15# DB SP - 5:10

Could probably done more weight for the WOD sets but wanted to keep it sane to keep form good. Still a tough workout. Upper body is definitely my weakness. Too many years skiing and cycling competitively has left me with strong legs but no arms :censored:

E of course having been a competitive climber and now playing hockey is far more conditioned than I.

Current stats:
N M/37/6'2"/242 (down 8 from two weeks ago :o)
E F/33/5'1"/105

Whewie---can barely type--the fingers and arms are sluggy
Today's workout was FRAN:
E used 24# for thrusters
N used 55# for thrusters
We both jumped the pullups
E: 7:27
N: 7:57
Both airplanes Hee hee---won't be flapping the arms to fly anytime soon though.
