Great work Nik, I can't wait to do this one, it looks brilliant, in fact I'm looking forward to doing this last cycle as it really looked like a tough one.

It was good, breathing is the factor really. O hthat was C2B, it did slow me down a bit, but it was good.

3:00 break, 27 tire flips with my ''new'' 209lbs tire. it wasn't bad.

Oh 27 because that is how many flips it took to get it put away from where it was in the parking lot.

Good job Nik!! Most of my pullups were c2b but not intentionally. My natural kip takes me that high. I never noticed before because the bars in my old gym were split in the middle so i really couldn't see how high up i would go. My new gym has regular bars and i usually go to the middle of my chest with the normal kip.

Awesome that you got a huge tire!! i've always wanted to flip one of those lol. Do you own a crossfit gym?

Good that you now have a bar to bang your chest on!! I never though about the 2 handle pullup bar, I bet that is kind of a pain to work on.

I wish I had a CF gym. No we just colleck what we can. Do dips on forklifh blades, brade our own rope.

Tire flips are a lot of fun for me. It put a lot of fun on the dead lift form. I really like it. I just kind of stumbled on the find. There is this construction equipment stageing area on my way to work, and I say a stack of used tires off one of the drive ways and they tried to give us the whole stack!! We only got the on for now, I may pick up one for homw later, just for fun.

Got me Mr Nichols, thats one of my favourite WODs before we changed to C2B. That standard seems to affect my times far greater than yours, I got a 13.39 angie with normal pull ups.

Re: Nik

dang good time nik!! I hope i can get within 17-18 minute range. i believe i did it in 19 last time. Hope to make up some of my time on the pushups and situps. i know my squats are probably going to suck depending on the groin.

Nik Nichols 04-20-2009 08:33 AM

Re: Nik

Ok I guess I am ok with the shakes and stomach upheaval. I had no Idea of times to beat, I knew I only had my break to get it done or I would have to cut it short.

I had the pullupd done in the 4to 5 min range, pushups and the last 25 to 30 situps were tough.

Thanks Scott and Ernie. We will see how bad it killes my squats today.

Re: Nik

For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

35:27

I think I did 60 push press, I know I did 40, but i was doing sets of 10 and lost count so I did 10 more to be sure, So I did 50 or 60, what ever.

Double unders were one at a time, shoulders and fore arms were spent.

KB were in 2 sets of 25.

We've gotta make up some time somewhere. We were both quite a bit faster last time. Good work, though.

Yea, my shoulders were killing me, I never only got 1 at a time. 2's and 3's still suck, but quite a bit faster.

You are welcome in the 10 PP's Scott!!

Nik Nichols 04-23-2009 01:36 PM

Re: Nik

3:00 breaak

30 C23b pullups for fun.

Re: Nik

"Michael"

Three rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters
50 Back Extensions
50 Sit-ups

Time 21:12 PR

Last time was done in 25:15

Thanks Brady for pushing me through it, you kept me going hard!!!

I almost screwed up like only I do. First run I turned arround at the 200 mark and only did a 400, I was leggin it too!! Brady turned me arround for the other 400 when I got back, it almost killed me, I was running.

Back exts were hard only on my legs, I had to stop to shake my calves because they were burning big time!!

Scott Jenkins 04-24-2009 08:48 AM

Re: Nik

4 minute PR Nik, great work and I bet you hated doing that extra 400m after pacing yourself !! Im going to measure my run by running for 35 seconds at my 400m pace and calling that 200m. It should be accurate.
