Re: Nik
So I tried with a wider grip like you suggested but I felt a slight pull in my arms so I didn't stick with it. I'll have to do more rolling with the balls. :o
Huh, I hope you are ok. Where did it pull? Can you video some cleans? |

I'm fine. I felt a twinge going down my shoulders to bicep, it's a flexibility issue I'm sure. |

I think from pull ups before but I'm smart enough to stop trying when I felt a twinge. ;) I'll work on my form tonight. Maybe I can get my son to video my cleans for me. I didn't bring my laptop. |

Still I'd like to see a clean and how you rack it and such. I keep forgetting my camra, I'd like a look at my own form. I know how I ''think'' it looks, but I really don't know how it really is. I could use some analizing myself. |

My problem is I'm not racking the weight at all. I hold the bar against my collar bone but there are no lifts in my elbows and the bar is not even sitting on my shoulders. I should be able to squat clean close to what my front squat weight is. |
Clean 3-3-3-3-3-3-3 reps
1.165lbs 2.175lbs 3.185lbs 4,185lbs 5.185lbs 6.185lbs 7.195lbs That was a blast. I got dizzy a few sets though, till I rememberd to hiss my breath out on the way up.
Real strong work there Nik, matching Ernie on top end. |

I have seen that and me and Brady are working on that with him. Do you push your shoulders forward to the bar? If you are holding the bar with your arms you are right it will keep your elbows down forsure. Video!!
Real strong work there Nik, matching Ernie on top end.
Thanks Scott, I really had fun on that one. i love the cleans, some days they are good and some days I'm pushing just to keep up to where I should be. Yesterday was a blast, my collar bone is raw frome it. That workout wrecked me though. I was tired the rest of the day. What do you thing of todays workout? are you C2B it? are you doing regular dips? anchored or un. I was going to go C2B, reg dips(on fork lift blades) , abmatt unanchored, squats A2G. |

Im going C2B then ring dips as they use them in all the videos and bar dips would never come up in competition. Also doing anchored sit ups and squats is squats. |

I will still be unanchored on the situps though, like you said, I haven't seen and anchored situps in comp either, well I'm not 100% on the situps, I am just use to unanchored and they are harder. If I'm doing the harder pullups and dip's may as well do the same on situps. |
