Hey a pr is a pr Nik!:highfive: It means you are getting better. No worries about breaking the kb cuz you killed your old time. How were the double unders?
Du's were better, still broken, I actually died for a bit in round 3 with 3or4 singles till i could get it going. Other then that arrounf sets of 10 some 20's Better, not great, but better.
Was it the box jumps that killed your time?
Yes, I juts don't know how to rebound and go right back up. So each jump is single. Maybe it is height, or skill I don't know. Doing it like that kills me, i burnout fast on box jumps.

Yea, I bet if you move your hands out a bit more you will get them to go arround faster and get them up higher.

Mike Burgener is always making a point to make people move there hands out an inch or two to do just that.

With the hands out further it gives your shoulders more rotatin and room to get your elbows up.

Worth a try unless you know all this which you may.

I'll have to try it. I think I keep my hands fairly close. Worth a shot. Thanks.

on the clean you don't need it colse. Try it with the bar to get the feel of it, it will feel different, but you will have more room to work and you will be faster.

Let me know what happens.

I do the same thing when I hear something new. And there is always something new.

I hope it works for you.
Five rounds for time of:
40 Double-unders
30 Box jumps, 24 inch box
20 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood

Box jumps to 27inch

time 25:31

last time 27:47

I tell you that felt slow. I was dieing on it bad. I am shocked I beat my old time. I'm glad for it.

Oh Ernie, I broke the 4th set of KB's at 13 reps.
Pr's all round for you guys yesterday and over 2 minutes , that's great seeing as we only did this one quite recently. Good to see your double under practice is paying off.

Have a look at todays Euro Blair Morrison video and there's a good shot of Richard hitting double unders - notice he's shoulders do not move. I am still like you having to really try not to move mine.
