View Full Version : Deep squat stretch=swollen calf/ankle?

Hi all ,
I have been doing a lot of mobility work/ deep squat stretching for O lifting to improve my bottom of Snatch / OH squat position, aiming also to keep feet straight in the bottom.
After about a week I am now very sore at top of calves behind my knees & my left calf/shin/ankle seems to be very swollen with fluid.

Any ideas on what I could have done & how to treat ?

Stop. Rest. Ice. Perhaps, too much, too soon. Give it a week.
