My non dominant shoulder recently started hurting. The first time I noticed it I was at the climbing gym. I felt little to no pain when I was climbing, but when I stopped the pain started. I've noticed the same thing doing pushups and pullups. While I'm doing the excersise I feel little pain, but when I finish it hurts a lot. It's a throbbing pain that seems to come from the center of my shoulder.

Here are a few other pieces of info that might be intersting:
1. I can rotate my shoulder in any direction w/o pain.
2. I can sometimes crack my shoulder by resting my elbow on a desk and dropping my shoulder.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this? If so what should I do to make this stop.

Patrick, I am going through the same type of pain. I have been religously icing and taking anit-inflammatories. Its funny...the pain is the worst in the morning after getting in my car.

Did you find anything that helps? I have done a little research and it appears that I might have inflamed one of the tendons that attach to my collarbone. It's really painful.
