Clydesdale United

Ok gentleman for the fourth year we will have "Clydesdale" thread to allow the Larger than most Crossfitters a place to share their Numbers! The full figured CF'rs will once again thrive on some WODs and crash and burn on others!!Key is to have fun and enjoy the Challenge!!!

@ 6'4" 244..... I will give 15.1 a go on Saturday with the rest of my box members! T2B will be my Achilles heal but I am hoping to move efficiently on deads and snatch!! I am shooting to stay at my 1rpm on C/J even under some heavy fatigue? We shall see!! Post'em up tell us your BIG BOY strategy! Good Luck Bob!

Re: Clydesdale United

I'm 6-5, 235# and did 15.1 this morning.

Predictably, T2B were the slow point. I broke them up into 5's from the start but still struggled with grip/forearms in later rounds. That's what I get for not practicing these much...

C&J felt great. I got in 5 reps and hit 10% more than my goal, so I'm happy with that. Unfortunately, about 150 other people to date hit the same weight, so as a Clydesdale I am ranked about last among them. If you're a big boy definitely add fractional plates so you're not at the bottom of the pile.

6'3 213#
15.1 - 160 reps
15.1a - 290#

T2B was my weakness on this one. I was pleased to hit about 97% of my 1RM C&J after

Haha ya I thought the same thing about 213 Clydesdale...maybe if you're 5'6. Just wondering if there are any non 6ft+ clydesdales (over 200ish)

I would like to try this but i've just started a PL training cycle and to be honest my c&J sucks maxed at 225 (technique probably issue since I can FS 350+ and push press 265)

Willi is just a lean Clydesdale! Hahahaha
the reason I start this thread every year is to see numbers from guys who are not games body type athletes!! Most of us are realistic in saying we are better suited to block down on a defensive tackle or skate 3rd shift!! Not necessarily go to the crossfit games!!!hahahahah! Great numbers fellas!! Keep up the good work! I am sure there will be something more suited for a gymnastic ninja this week so us biggun will get our asses kicked!!! Either way I am going to have FUN DOING IT!!!
