What about last week ? That was increasing weights. So three times now.

His point was, they've never done it twice in one year and we've already had it this year so we might not see it again.

Re: 14.4 Predictions

13.4 but with thrusters instead of C&J. Weight will be same as 13.5, maybe a little heavier.

Re: 14.4 Predictions

Anybody think there would be any sort of a run in a wod? Or would there be too much room for error between boxes? 20 feet extra would be a big deal with all the participants.

I like the 7:00 wall ball amrap or the 21-15-9 wbs and t2b.

Re: 14.4 Predictions

With Josh B.. might be a thruster and T2B.. but who knows.. If they do thrusters hope it is gains weight each round. 95,115,135,155,185 with some T2B to break up the abs. They might just drop the hammer and add an AMARP with Muscle ups involved. They are coming for sure. Don't forget crossfit's favorite burpees also.

Could they have a first ever quad exercise workout?

Will find out tomorrow. Castro getting ready to get that smug face on for the announcement.

Too hard to record / too easy to cheat. My opinion:

AMRAP 15
5 Thursters (115/95)
10 TTB
15 Burpees

They won't. Ever. Nor will they ever have rowing.

Re: 14.4 Predictions

Do not forget there are people like me who have to film their workouts. It would be big fun doing a video with a 400 m run. Just imagine measuring the distance (on video) before doing the workout. Would cost our judges hours to watch people showing they have the right distance.

I'm hoping for a new movement to be added to the list this week. My favourites are ring dips or ring push-ups.

Re: 14.4 Predictions

I've got 2 thoughts for the muscle ups that are bound to come up. First, CF likes the push/pull superset of thrusters and pull ups. But we've already done pull ups, so we could do a push/pull superset of thrusters and muscle ups. Maybe something like this:

AMRAP 12
40 thrusters 45
30 thrusters 95
20 thrusterss 135
10 muscle ups

Also, CF loves programming burpees, as it is so accessible for most everyone. So how about programming the easiest movement - burpees, coupled with the hardest movement - muscle ups?

AMRAP 8
100 burpees
10 muscle ups

CF could also put in some T2B in the thruster/MU wod or some C&J in the burpee/MU wod so that each wod would have a bodyweight movement and a barbell movement before doing any MU.

Bar MU were covered quite extensively in the judges course, so I would not be surprised to see them in the Open, either.
