Re: Any guesses on 14.2

they could do something where the movement gets harder as you progress through the open like last years 13.4 but the movement changes so you start off with just normal pullups then if you make the time cap it goes to chest to bar then the next cap is muscle ups.

i am hoping for a clean ladder. like 30 wall balls between C&J ladder 17mins

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

I wont make any bold proclamations like I I'd for 14.1, but I am working on a new theory for predicting these things. Won't know for sure till tomorrow night or Thursday morning though ( hint, it won't rely on pictorial evidence)

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

My guess is a clean ladder mixed up with bar-over-burpees.

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

The OC throwdown did a workout like ascending weight on OHS 20 reps each weight (95,135,165#) with 20 pull ups, 20 C2B and 20 Muscle ups in between. Was a fast workout 8 min. Time left over you get 185 OHS max reps..Light guys get the body weight movements and the strong guys get the heavy OHS, fire breathers get the speed of the workout.. everyone is happy right

I don't think comparing an OC Throwdown WOD to an Open WOD is a good idea at all.

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

1 armed muscle ups
100 meter firewalk (every box will need to buy $25,000 of special Rogue Crossfit charcoal)
Discus throw

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

I'll guess:
Deadlift Ladder with burpees mixed in.

135x21 & 20 Burpees
225x15 & 20 Burpees
315x9 & 20 Burpees
405x6 & 20 Burpees
495x3 & 20 Burpees

or the firewalk. that's a good guess.

I would KILL for this to be it. They've never had anything with heavy deadlifts. I wonder if they're afraid to because of injury.

Re: Any guesses on 14.2

100 burpees box jumps for time, with EMOM 5 225# deadlifts. That's a real WOD I just made up...

My coach's guess was a simple 5 min AMRAP of burpee box jumps.

It will not be this. 14.1 very much favored smaller, lighter folks. count on this to favour bigger folks. My hope is that the leaderboard does a 180 turn right around me and I stay right where I am.

I feel I am pretty much right in the middle.
