Eat real food! No reason to supplement with a slow digesting protein powder, that is what real food is for. I believe that is just a marketing gimmick. You supplement with protein powders pre/post workout cause they are fast digesting.

All I know is that on their blog here they use "WOD" as a verb, therefore I will not buy the product. Also it doesn't look that special, just overpriced casein, IMO.

I can't sleep with a stomach full of food, but drinking a protein shake before going to bed doesn't cause me any issues. Different strokes for different folks?

I don't really think having any food a few hours before bed is really suggested anymore. That's old school bodybuilding and we know fat and carbs 2-3 hours before bed inhibit growth hormone secretion.

Progenex isn't what it used to be. Literally.

I wasnt speaking in defense of progenex as I use Nitrean+; it's not loaded with carbs or fat. While taking a serving before bed may be "bro science" I feel noticeably better durning the week if I don't allow myself to sleep at night on an empty stomach.

Bro science is often correct, bro. Except anything involving MuscleTech haha. I used to try the same thing but it would actually keep me up to eat any protein source or casein shake before bed. How many minutes before bed do you drink it? Like chug and roll over? I remember back in the day I used to wake up mid sleep at like 3-4am and eat. Ah...midnight snacks.

Well, I don't advertise it, but I do tell people who ask they can take a scoop before bed if they don't eat within 3 hours of going to bed. I feel that is a sound use of the product. By the way, I did get your point, and thank you.
