BTW, Henry's Marketplace sells Carlson's for about $37 a bottle (.75 litre?) that seemed a little expensive to me. Is that about the average price?

Ron, I order mine from Vitamin Lady ~$28. That's about the best I've found, but of course, I haven't searched anymore since I found that one.

60 tabs of 1000mg Omega 3's for $2.83 Not a bad deal and I've been using them for over a year now.

Also, to speak to Robb's point about farmed salmon, here are the AA/EPA ratios of various types of salmon oil:

Ron,

The concentrated version of the Kirkland fish oil I buy from Costco has 240 mg of EPA and 200 mg of DHA per capsule. So seven of these (four in the morning, three in the evening) works out to just over 3 grams of Omega-3. Sears recommends 2.5 grams a day for maintenance, so this is just about perfect (I don't mind getting the extra half-gram).

Mike,
Thanks for the tip. Looks like the wife got the standard model.
Brian,
Good info as always. Of course, flax is easiest to find. But I'll look for the others as well.

Scott,
I'll give VitaminLady a look today. Thanks!
BTW, the eldest daughter works at Henry's so I get 15% off!! It's where I picked up a 5lb tub of whey protein isolate for 30 bucks!!
