Frustrations and Inefficiencies in Daily Operations?

Hey Everyone,

I've been a CrossFitter since 2008, and have taken my level 1. I help out the owner of my local box every now and then, but I'm a full time engineer.

CrossFit has given me a new lease on life, and I'd really like to give something back to the community.

I'm here to ask for your opinions, and feelings for where there is room for improvement in your daily operations.

What frustrates you on a regular basis? What repetitive, or tedious tasks do you wish you could do away with?

I would like to identify these common, shared problems that recur throughout the community, and create a software based solution. The goal is to increase your efficiency, which in turn should allow you to be able to spend more time doing what you love - making your clients lives better!

If you would be willing to chat with me and walk me through your day, please either reply here or Private Message me.

This isn't spam guys, and I'm not selling anything. In fact, I have nothing to sell.

I want to help you, and help your business grow more effectively. Who is in?!

Hope to hear from you soon!

Don

So you're going to give me free software after you create it? You're a hell of a guy!

Follow up with me when you're done, and I'll give you my address.

If you'd care to take the time in talking with me to identify areas that could use improvement, then you would be able to assist in the design of a solution, thus meaning that it could be very beneficial to you.

As I said, it's no sales pitch. I've got NOTHING to sell you. Just looking for help and insight, which is what this community is about...

But if you'd like to take that approach and aren't interested in helping to create a solution to better the industry as a whole, then that's fine too.

Take care.

I get too many sales calls and emails a day. Disrupts my coaching.

Ugh, yes, telemarketing calls are my #1 pet peeve.

Is everyone of you affiliate owners that jaded? Sounds like Don is just trying to see if he can use his skill set to design a open source software free to users. I mean where would we be without Craigslist? If Don is true to his word then bravo the CF community may have the opportunity to develop something good. If he's another marketer, then blow him up on these threads.... Anyhow I don't own an affiliate and I mostly get it done is my basement so I don't have any skin in the game at it were, just my two cents.

Cleaning the rubber floor mats. That's always a drudge. If someone could come up with software for that I'd be stoked. Right now I use a broom every day and then sponge mop the floor whenever I get ambitious. I haven't figured out how to use JScript for that task just yet.

Leaf Blower FTW! One with good power. Works great for dog hair too. Of course if you're going for sterile/shiny clean, well, SOL.

See post #4 to understand why we get jaded. It is truly unbelievable the number of people try to sell myself or my members junk.
