I just wanted to let the group know that I have been accepted to the Nutritional Sciences grad program at CSU, Chico. I have to credit this community with helping to keep this dream alive.
More details to follow.

A good friend of mine, Tom Fahey, is a professor there. Great community, too. Good luck to you.

Robb,
Excellent news! I'm glad to hear that you will be able to pursue your post-grad work. You definitely deserve your place there.
Hey, I might stop by your area in 3 weeks or so. If I do, you better be home!

Dan,
I've heard of Tom Fahey. He wrote a book called SuperAthletes, which is on my reading list. Have you read this book?

No, I haven't. His work is very good. He is very clear about what works and what doesn't. In my "What I learned at Discus Camp" article, I note about two pages of discussion with Tom.
