Backsquat critique, 5 @ 275
Advice is welcomed (should be HBBS).
3x5x275, final set WFS Some thoughts I have as I watched: my wrists are a little cranked, depth OK(?), torso maybe a little forward for HBBS. |

It's really hard to judge depth when you're wearing all black and the lighting is bad. Looked a little high to me at times.

Most of them looked high to me. I feel you're folding over onto your legs instead of squatting down. Push the knees out when you squat, and maybe just a little more butt back when you start. Either grip the barbell or pin it with your hands, but as you noted your wrists look pretty cranked. You should have a sense of jamming the upperback into the barbell.
Looks like you control the weight ok, just need to focus and get that depth. |

A little better lighting and different angle. I did focus on firmer grip. Was a rough go...either a really bad day or I'm near my max. No reps on depth on most of these IMO:

I agree they still looked high.
My guess, is you feel really stable right at the point your are reaching now, hip seems to lock into place and if you went any deeper you start to feel loose or that you'll drop through. If this is the case, when you hit this spot, get ready to drop down a little and then pop up. |

Definitely better.
I think you are pretty much on the mark--a little deeper for HBBS, reasonable for LBBS. Good idea to keep knees out. Also feet seem to wobble, would be best if they can be locked into the ground. |
