Nike Fuel fitness tracker

anyone know how this thing is going to work for crossfit type workouts? seems pretty interesting... just wondering how its going to work for stuff were your arms are not moving very much if at all? can it take weight into account through heart rate or something? saw something about oxygen something sensor? would be cool to be able to track WODs on a "fuel" type level for comparisons....

Re: Nike Fuel fitness tracker

I honestly don't believe anything like that can work for cf workouts, weight lifting workouts, body building workouts, and SO much more.....

Just my $.02, and I would love to hear debate on how it does past the typical marketing hype.

ya that's what im thinking... my only thought was since you wear it all day that the band could have some sort of base line heart rate and given that, somehow extrapolate how much work you are doing based on your elevated heart rate over time? throw in the data it can get from the movements you do where the accelerometer works? i am probably hoping for to much here though...
