The log must be held overhead with head through, elbows locked & feet parallel. As soon as those requirements are met, the referee will give a “down” command. Athlete will set the log back down to the ground with control, and then repeat. The athlete can NOT rest the log onto his/her head. If the athlete drops the log from above their head without control, he/she can be disqualified from this event. Most repetitions pressed wins. Chalk only. No straps or elbow sleeves are allowed. No built-up belts are allowed & all belts must be turned around (buckle in the back) Wrist wraps are allowed. 4 competitors at a time in this event (LW & HW Women, LW & HW Men) (1 minute time limit)

2. Bodyweight hang for time with 90 lbs on a hip belt. Athletes will be given the command, “take your grip” and on the referee’s whistle will hang from a chin up bar for as long as possible. As soon as both athlete’s feet touch the platform below, their time will stop. Maximum time wins. Chalk only. NO TACKY OR STICK UM SPRAY IS ALLOWED or the athlete will be disqualified from this event. 4 competitors at time for this event (LW Women first, then HW Women, etc)

3. Atlas stone over the bar for reps. Athlete will stand over the stone. On the whistle from the referee, he/she will pick up the stone and load it over a bar. If the stone clears the bar, that repetition is good. A volunteer will push the stone back to the competitor and he/she will repeat the lift. If the stone falls back and does not clear the bar, that rep will not be counted. Most reps over the bar will win the event. CHALK ONLY. Then the athlete must pull a Sled backwards for 80 feet. The entire sled must cross the finish line for time to stop. Fastest time wins. If not, the distance will be measured & recorded.
