Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

Not getting the 'Bull' connection? Are you saying 3 rounds is definitely doable?

It's very similar.

Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

3 rounds is not that crazy, until you tell me to do it in 10mins, then it is impossible. 3 rounds would easily be a 40 to 50 minute painfest.

The bull connection is close, but...

Bar facing burpees >>> double unders

AND

Muscle ups after ohs >>>> pull ups after ohs

But yeah slightly similar

Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

I was very critical of 11.3. Not of this one. Very well put together. Very, very hard. And has limited judging - MU's could get a little dicey but I doubt it.

As for the AMRAP debate. I love them. You will see "for time" by the end of this thing but as a general rule I prefer AMRAPs as both workouts and tests of fitness.

Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

The difference between 90 reps and 91 will probably bump you up a few hundred places.

Even though I have MUps, I wonder if I'll even get that far in 10 min.

Scared Stiff

I barely managed last week with the weight above my head so I am gunning for the burpees and then we shall see.

Know for sure I can get it up, it's the keeping it there and squatting.

Don't have MU's and know that I won't make it to that point anyway.

Keep moving.

Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

Muscle-ups (and anything beyond) are bonus reps for this workout. I think an overwhelming majority will not even get through the OHSqs. Remember that CFMain WoD that started with 70 burpees? We did that at my affiliate, and it took most of us over 5minutes to get through those (I'd say that was close to average...), and a 3 inch jump with a hand clap was OK. Now you actually have to jump the bar. That will take up half of your time at least - then 3 sets of 10/5 sets of 6/10 sets of 3.

Since I am not going to regionals, I will approach this as 60 burpees/30 OHS for time. If there is any of the 10minutes left, I will furiously try to get my first MU then

Re: 11.4 Any guesses?

So I just found out that if you didn't get any reps on 11.3 then you can't submit 11.4-11.6 - waste of my $10 since they don't let you submit a 0 if you couldn't complete a rep.

Guess the rest of the workouts will be for fun then, will scale the OHS just so I can get to the muscle ups!

Most folks will do the 60 burpees in about 4 minutes...you'll need to have a solid ohs (not to mention you need to have a proficient snatch to get the weight overhead quickly)...if you can rep out 6 or more reps of the ohs getting to the muscle ups with time remaining will be doable. If you are doing 3 or 4 ohs at a time you won't have much time at all in my estimation.
