Any good Paleo websites?

I was wondering if there was any good websites explaining Paleo and/or showing recipes to make Paleo meals? I'm going on a roadtrip in a few days so won't be starting Paleo yet till I get back, but I want to get a good idea of it before I talk to my CF coaches about it.

Re: Any good Paleo websites?

Here are my favorites. (All links below are WFS.)

For information:

Rob.b Wol.f: http://robb wolf.com/faq/ (remove the space)
PaNu: http://www.paleonu.com/get-started/
Mark's Daily Apple: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/

(Also, consider buying the book, "The Paleo Solution." Its a great introduction to Paleo, both entertaining and informative. It also has a bunch of recipes in the back.)

What you'll notice is that different sites (including the ones above) promote slightly different versions of Paleo/Primal. They all support the same basic principles of basing your diet on meat, vegetables, some fruit, limited nuts, no added sugar etc. But they may differ from each other on smaller issues, for example whether full fat dairy is okay. In my opinion, the "right" version of Paleo is the one that makes you feel the best and that you will stick with. Some people recommend starting off with the most restrictive version and then adding some of the seemingly less offensive items back in your diet to see how you feel.

For Recipes:

The Foodee Project: http://www.thefoodee.co/
Live Primal Recipe Book: http://liveprimal.com/LPrecipes.pdf
Everyday Paleo: http://everydaypaleo.com/category/food/

Also, when it comes to recipes, I'll often just google the word "paleo" with whatever I'm looking to cook. Usually, a number of good choices come up.

Good luck.

I'm a big fan of Mark's Daily Apple. His book, The Primal Blueprint, is outstanding.

For recipes, Health Bent can't be beat!

All links above are WFS.
