THE Pixie Warrior's Workout Log
So first, I hope no one is intimidated by the title of this log.
Correction... I hope no one thinks I am a complete *** because of the title of this log, but of all of the names I have been called in the gym(out of those both vulgar and charming), "pixie warrior" is most certainly my favorite. Secondly, this is my second attempt of maintaining a published log. Wish me luck, as well as the patience to stay on top of updating this thing. (No promises) Now for some egotistic facts/stats about me: FACTS: I am short I am blonde I am a former competitive gymnast I love pullups I love CrossFit Center City I love my CrossFit Center City Family I am a trainer at CrossFit Center City I would much rather walk on my hands throughout my day, as opposed to my feet I love the human body, spirit, and mind Greg Privitera&Erin Davidson are the most amazing trainers, my mentors, saviors, and providers. Thank you&love you STATS: (BW=110, H=5'2") Max Conventional Deadlift: 225lb Max Sumo Deadlift: 215lb-- Max Back Squat: 175lb Max Front Squat: Been a while Max Weighted Supinated Pullup: 65lb Max Weighted Pronated Pullup: 60lb Max Thruster: 115lb Max Clean&Jerk: 130 Max Snatch: ehhhh....needs work Max Push Press: 120lb Max Strict Press: 95lb Max Rep Pullups: 40 Max Broad Jump: 90 1/4" Max Box Jump: 38" 30 Muscleups for time: 6:52 5 Rds: 115lb C&J-rd of cindy--12:14 Power Elizabeth: 8:25 Cindy: 25rds+5 Pullups Mile Run: 6:15 Death by Pullups: 17rds+3 pullups 3 Rds: 30 Toes to bar-21 Ground to overhead(65lb)--13:30 Angie: 20:14 (Forgetting some...Lost some...Need to update ALOT) Recent Wod's: 11/6/10- 3Rds: 400 M. Run, 21KB swings(1pood), 12 HSPU 10:17 GOALS: I want to be stronger and faster. I want to be a beast. I want to be a strong beast. I want to be a fast&strong beast. I want to be a faster&stronger beast. I want to be a beast among beasts. I also want to rep heavier things. Qualify for CF Regionals within the next 2 years. Qualify for CF Games within the next 5 years. Learn all I can about everything there is to learn. Grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Help people to find their inner strength that I am only now coming to discover within myself. Use my education to help my Mother&family to overcome the nutritional and health challenges they faces. Live purely. Live happily. To exist as a healthy, peaceful, &beautiful being in each and every present moment. Help others to simply exist as healthy, peaceful,&beautiful beings that they can be in each and every present moment. So many, many more goals that I wish to live, but here's the gist of it. Sorry the list had strayed a bit away from CrossFit, but the benefits of CrossFit have also strayed a bit away from the box to exist throughout most aspects of my life. I hadn't met to omit it, that's why I'd written the note because I'd originally had it in addition to it. And the front squat I just don't know what my max is. That is all, I know secrets, secrets are no fun.

WORKOUT OF THE DAY: Skill Work: Single arm KB cleans Met Con: 7 Rds for time: 7 single arm KB clean to strict press-each side (1 pood) 16:10 Immediately following: Max Side Plank-Each side 1:10-1:15 Post Wod: Just a bit of refreshing for Saturday's competition -Some toes-to-bar&light barbell clean&jerks for skill work Notes: -I need to pop my hips more on the clean -Training a CF wod in a globo gym on my own reminded me of the (not so) good ol' days -1 pood presses were..uh..heavy. Missing those Friday press days has dwindled my press strength a bit. -Wish I'd been faster, but not sure I could've been (Well, I know I could ALWAYS go faster&work a bit harder no matter what the case may be) -But I most definitely could have held those planks longer. Unfortunately I allowed myself to lose focus(as my next session came in) and a bit of determination/effort. -I'm kind of excited for this weekend's competition. It will be fun...but wish some CFCC'ers would be there to compete with me! (Updated 2 days in a row...SO PROUD) |

And you did clean and jerks at 12th Street without being yelled at??? Or are we okay as long as we don't drop them? |
