WoD from the main page for Jan. 12 - which was my rest day. Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of: Row 250 meters 25 Push-ups 4 rounds + 250m + 4 push-ups (Rx'd) Just about every thing inside me wanted to go to knee push-ups after round 2, but stuck with it....this was definitely harder than it looked on paper! |

Dedicated to my son Isaac on his 3rd birthday! From crossfitai.com 5 Rounds 7 Clean & Jerk 135/95# 10 Push-ups w/ de-load at the bottom 32:01 Rx'd I may have benefitted from some scaling on the weights, but wanted this one Rx'd! I did rest a lot after some of the C&J reps - I am not strong or skilled enough to get these in rapid fire....also, wanted to keep good form on them. If I tried going faster, I would have failed on more than two reps (which I cant dump because I work out in a globo), at least been kicked out of the gym for dropping weight, or, at worst had to be rushed to the hospital with rhabdo or a broken collar bone...... So, all in all, happy with the work today! The progression is: "do it right", then "do it fast"! I may have to drop out of Ted's tabata challenge - as I have little time and energy left after going for WoDs Rx'd to do them.....I may see if I cant hit the last two for week two on the weekend. |

do what you have to do to keep your self healthy and keep progressing. i've dropped out of challenges before for different reasons.
an option over the weekend is to keep the tabata movements simple: vertical jump, squats, sit ups, etc... tabata presses are really, really tough. |

I found that out the hard way earlier this week!!!! Do not regret that though, it was a great workout!
I think on the weekend I will do tabata sit-ups, step ups, HSPU's or muscle-ups. Something simple I can do at home.... Wait......muscle-ups!!!???? ![]() |

Good high-volume day today. Started witha 5 minute row - 1018m/55Kcal Then, tabata push-ups - 18/10/7/7/5/5/3/4 - 59 total Yesterday's WoD from crossfitai.com (WFS) 5 Rounds 30 Box Jumps 20/18" 30 Walking Plate Lunge 45/35 Time: 25:51 Rx'd - this was a great one! 3rd WoD done Rx'd - 4th of the last 5! Feel pretty good about that! Cash-out: Tabata KB swings (1 pood) - 8/7/6/4/6/5/3/7 - 46 total Love that my gym actually has kettle bells! Lots of work done today! |
