Anyone got any suggestions for crossfitting shoes that will fit wide feet?

i wear a 11.5 E and have been limited to wearing new balance running shoes for the most part. my feet start to hurt when lifting weights.

Mark Rippetoe: "Yeah, ducks can wear them."

When asked if Rogue Do Wins were good for wide feet.

*edit* hmm, those would be specifically for weightlifting. I see you're looking for crossfitting in general. sorry.

Re: Shoe Suggestions for Wide Feet

I have VERY wide feet which produces a constant irritation in life in trying to find comfortable shoes. I lift in Rogue Do Wins and I recently found what I believe to be the perfect all around CrossFit should for me. I use them for everything except really heavy lifting days. Nike Sparq Free Trainers 09...or something like that:

There are many variations in colors and materials (i.e. if the toe mesh is perforated "leather" or typical running shoe type mesh, etc). You just have to see what you can find. I ordered mine from Footlocker and found a second pair at Luke's Locker. Good luck, I really hope this helps, I feel your pain, I have had to send back countless shoes because they were too narrow.

and here is a thread here where this was discussed:

I normally wear 10.5 3E and I wear VANS for all my workouts. They are a lot wider than Chucks or Sambas. I picked my up for about $30.

Re: Shoe Suggestions for Wide Feet

Did the normal width Vans, Tigers, and Nike Sparq's fit, or did you find wide sizes available?

i was looking at the Tigers on Zappos and they've got some cool looking shoes

Just the normal size works for me. My wide feet are comfortable in the Nike Sparq Free Trainers and Vans. I don't WOD in the Vans, just wear them around but have found them very comfortable for my feet.
