Pull-up bar spacing - how many people in 20 feet?

I have a question regarding pull up bar spacing.

Our current free-standing pullup bars have 3' spaces for people to do pullups. Most people do not utilize the entire 3'.

I have used a free-standing pullup structure that had 2' spaces for pullups, and that was fine for me, a normal sized female. I am not sure that is enough room for your average Joe.

We are looking at building out a new structure, and trying to decide where to put the pullup bars (we would like to do wall-mount this time around). We have a 23' space available on one wall, but I'm not sure it's long enough. We'd like to accommodate 10 athletes at once if we can.

We have 1 other wall that is definitely longer, but at this point I am not sure exactly how long. If I had to guess I would say 32', and I think that is a pretty good guess.

We could also do some pullup bars on each wall, but I want to make sure we leave room for wallball and HSPU.

How would you tackle this?

They should come out far enough from the wall that you can do wallballs and HSPU against the same wall.

We have 3' per person on ours and it seems to be cozy.

Oh, I should mention that we are looking at the wall mounted pullup bars that are 30" from the wall.....not enough space for doing wallball underneath....

I would suggest that you move the pull-up bars out another half foot from the wall (36"/3'). That way, you can have almost three feet of space for each of 8 people facing the wall and 3 feet of space on both ends of the pull-up structure to accomodate all 10 people.
