Comparing Omega-3 Fish Oil prices (spreadsheet!)

I'm tired of calculating prices for fish oil, so I made a spreadsheet that anyone can view. I've entered in the numbers for a few brands that are most commonly used by CFers: Sam's Club, Costco, and Carlson.

I also entered in three brands recommended by the Weston A. Price Foundation, but they are pretty expensive. (Carlson is also recommended by the WAPF.)

The second one should be editable by everyone. If you have a brand you want to add, go for it. If you want to improve something, anything is game. I'm not that handy with spreadsheets, so maybe someone could add a feature where you can plug in your daily dosage and it will calculate the monthly/yearly cost for you or something. Right now it provides numbers for 2.5g, 5g, and 15g per day.

If it gets screwed up somehow, people can always refer to the original (non-editable) version.

Yes, I spent way too much time on this.

I hope somebody finds it useful.

Awesome, thanks. I am blocked from google spreadsheets at work (lame) but will check this out at home. Did you put in the Nutra Sea HP stuff Frank has been hawking? I am *loving* the liquid I ordered through him.

I've added the NSI liquid from vitacost.com. They are cheaper than carlson but I have no idea about the quality.

This is the first I've heard of the members mark triple-strength oil. Looks like a great deal, but like you said in the spreadsheet... what's the EPA/DHA count?

I don't know... I haven't been able to find it online and I don't have a bottle on me. It's possible they don't list it on the bottle, either. I'll give their customer service a call tomorrow to see if I can dig up details, but I don't know if they'll have any.
