1.25 lb plates? (That'll fit an olympic bar)

I need to buy 1.25 plates soon. I saw a pair for $25 on Amazon, but one review there says the hole is too small to fit a olympic bar.

Where can I find a pair that can fit an olympic bar? I don't want a whole set that costs $50+.

go to a hardware store and buy some chain, and some couplings.

Weigh and cut some lengths to the desired weight.

You should be able to make a pair of 1.25lb and 0.75lb loops for less than $10 and they'll fit around an olympic barbell collar.

I've heard of 2" diameter washers. Supposedly they are 1 1/4# a piece.

You can also use 2" washers. They were really well.

Those weigh 0.6302 lbs ea., that means you could go up in increments of ~1.25lbs.
