100 Burpee Challenge

OK - I have looked everywhere but can someone explain exactly how the 100 Burpee Challenge works? I need something to "complete" and the Burpees would be sweet. painful but sweet.
thanks.

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

Day 1 = 1 burpee.
Day 2 = 2 burpees.
Day 100 = 100 burpees.
Day 101 = Rest.
Day 102 = "Hey, shouldn't I be doing burpees?"

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

Congrats and good luck! However, if you miss a day, you must buy into it the following day. For example, if you miss day 60, then on day 61, you make up for day 60 by doing 60 burpees and then you do 61 burpees in order to stay current. That is motivation enough to not miss any day because, well, burpees are wrathful, vengeful and jealous. Do not taunt the burpees.

However, you are allowed to break up the larger amounts into digestible sets. Just do what you can.

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

I also timed myself on Day 0 - how long it took me to do 100 burpees. Then, on Day 100, I timed myself again. The great improvement at the end made it all worth it! Good luck!

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

I found some rules with a search. Posted them on my 100 burpee challange finished thread.

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

One thing I did during my challange was to put a paper on the wall of my area. Mark each day as I accomplished it. You could do graphs or other visual references to show your daily progress. It got to where I was challanged and looked forward to making that "Mark" for that day. Towards the end, it showed my progress through the numbers which filled me with pride.

But tracking the numbers somehow would be helpful to keep you going. We are all encouraged to keep journals, this Challange should be no different.

Re: 100 Burpee Challenge

I wish you all the best on your burpee challenge and upon completion be proud to boast that you completed over 5000 burpees. That elevates you to a level above mere mortals.

I finished my burpee challenge 2 months ago and believe it or not I'm getting the itch to do it again. Either that or I need to have my head examined.

Take care.
