Is this worth $20?

I would like to test my body fat periodically to measure progress. Would this (wfs) be a good purchase, or is there something better out there that doesn't cost a lot?

FWIW, I put this in the Nutrition section because it deals with body fat. If a moderator feels it belongs in the Equipment section, so be it.

Re: Is this worth $20?

I suppose if you know how to properly use it, ya' know, so you get an accurate reading, it's fine. I bought a battery powered BF analyzer off Craigs List for $20, it's hand held, super easy to use. I think it only costs about $40 brand new @ Big 5.

Is there any gym nearby that has a BodPod? CFSac does and I think it's 15 or 25 bucks a pop.

Honestly, how often are you going to check it? I remember only checking 3 times a semester during college courses.
