How Many Affiliates Are There?

I was just trying to see the amount of growth that CrossFit has had in the past 8 years and was wondering if anyone new how many total CrossFit Affiliates we have to date?

if you go to the FAQ on the main site I believe they say about 300+ in the USA and a total of 450 world wide... you can definitely find the info if you look around on the main page

And there are additional members in the process.

I remember hearing someone say that Coach had projected some substantial growth 5 years from now. Anyone no what that number looked like?

I think there are a couple who might have a few years or months on me

This is a little off topic, but something I was wondering about the other day.

How big is CrossFit? I mean, it is a pretty difficult task just to count the member of all 600 gyms over the world, and even more than that, it is impossible to know how many people just work out in their home gyms (like myself). The Gold's Gym website says they have over 610 gyms in 42 states and 30 countries. CrossFit has affiliates in 45 states and at least 10 countries.

What do you think, is CrossFit the biggest fitness program in the world? Just sorta curious, thats all...

Frank: I am not an official affiliate, but I am a Level 1 who runs a FREE
Crossfit at my place here in Tennessee. We have over 70 members, with
usually ~40 here on Saturdays. I would be affiliated, but I have a real job
that fortunately pays well enough to let us have all the equipment any box
would want. I am 66 1/2 y.o. and fitter than ever.

If you have that kind of cash, why not affiliate out of respect and loyalty to the CrossFit community?

Anyways, I just wanted to say wow, in 2 years it seems that CrossFit has enjoyed 500+% growth!
