Yeah, it's the last short sampler I made of my own footage. I can't remember the url off the top of my head and I'm at work, but I'll post up once I get home.
As for the being arrested part, there isn't anything illegal involved unless you are training on private property, and in that case they have to approach you with a warning first, from what I've seen. One of the biggest points I try to push for everybody I train with is to cooperate without an attitude when it comes to security/law enforcement. I can totally understand why they would be iffy about what we're doing, and arguing doesn't help anything. Being that we never destroy property or cause any trouble, they never have any reason to do anything but ask us to leave. |

"Well at least equal with crossfit"
Hahaha, sorry, but crossfit spanks us every time, that's why I like it so much, it's very humbling! Now, Crossfit and Parkour combined.... Oh, and that older video was: http://www.va-parkour.com/media/gear_sampler.avi I'm pretty sure it's compressed with DivX, which is a free download for the play bundle at www.Divx.com (Message edited by gear on December 15, 2005) |

I just love it how everyone's bringing CF to their discipline. I second Hone's comments...From the philosophy, to the art in the movements, to the sheer athleticism...you DO rock!

Is an emergency count as getting away from someone trying to catch you? I am just having trouble coming up with emergencies...
Oh and Alex, you should try this stuff with snow on the ground... it becomes a whole new game... |

Getting away from somebody trying to catch you, trying to catch somebody yourself, trying to rush to rescue somebody or prevent a catastrophe, trying to escape a building as it's falling down. Those are all things that come right off the top of my head. Basically, imagine any situation where you have to get from where you are, to somewhere else, and you have to do it fast. Then imagine that there happens to be a ton of obstacles in the way, negating a simple sprint. This is an emergency situation where you'd appreciate some experience overcoming obstacles quickly and effeciently.
