http://www.crossfit.com/journal/2007...brigham_1.html

It's from the main CF site, so the link is work safe and all that jazz.

Re: Plyo Box dimensions

Before you go to the trouble, you may want to check out the prefab kits on www.crossfitequipment.com

The prices are right and the time spent putting it together is even better.

Re: Plyo Box dimensions

Did you find the shipping charges for the plyo boxes a little high. I was set to buy until I saw the $30 shipping fee. That seems a bit high.

Re: Plyo Box dimensions

Rob, I just made mine and took the sizes from the CFJ article for the 20" boxes and scaled them. I made the 24" box 22.5" high by 25" at the base. If you make a template of the 20" box and use that angle from the base of any other box, they will fit together nicely. My 14" box is 12.5" high and 19" at the base.

Re: Plyo Box dimensions

So the prebuilt is $100 with the 4in lift + shipping. For some one who has built one what is the DIY cost? Will one sheet of Ply cover it?
Thanks!
