pull up bar/rind in dropped ceiling

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to hang a pull up bar from a dropped ceiling. The support would be about four feet above the dropped ceiling. Or maybe rings?

Thanks for the mention and link...
Helmut,
Be careful with straps (too much friction with kipping) and pullup bars, I would def go with chains to support.

With the rings I have mats duct taped around the beam to avoid the friction fray...I also bring those rings up and down several times a week for different workouts and am able to inspect for potential trouble.
