Making it without a CF Gym
I just recently moved away from my gym where I could follow the daily WOD and post results to the logs. Without the equipment to always follow the WOD, I've been slacking more and more, and need to keep myself accountable. Knowing that I will have to post my results to the board has always forced me to work harder.
Enough of an intro. 6/14/08: 3 Rounds: ~20m suicides (run to the 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, 2/3, 1/3 twice) 25 pull-up 40 push-ups 25 dumbbell snatch, 25#, each arm 24:50 Still waiting for my abmat, and Rogue pull-up bar/rings |

Making it without a CF Gym
6/15 - "Michael" - 20:09
Unachored situps (no Abmat), good mornings First time doing Michael with actual running. I have just recovered from a problem with my tibial muscles which prevented me from running. I was so psyched on the third round that I high-fived an unknown person jogging in the opposite direction. Felt great to actually do this outside. I finished up with a rolling pin to the tibias. |

6/22:
Did some distance running for the first time ever. My tibia muscles get really tight and sore on treadmills, but not outside (?). Working out outside for the summer, I'll be doing more running. Excited to try running on the sand, now that I have moved out of the landlocked state of Colorado. Run 6k with a stop in the middle (errand; dual-purpose run) ~34min 6/24: Modified Angie: 100 dips (just got my rings!) 100 sit-ups 100 squats 100 push-ups By the time I got to 60 on the dips, I was braking them into 5s and having a real tough go of it, so I subbed out the remaining 40 for lunges in the interest of sunlight. Time: 20:42 |

6/25:
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes: Run 170m (estimated based on field) Walking Lunge 30m 21 sit-ups - unancored 21 squats 21 pull-ups Just barely made 5 rounds. Worked on my new portable pullup bar, which is a bit harder to kip on. I need to practice more with it. I also had to adjust it before and after my set for my girlfriend, who was also working out with me. |

Re: Making it without a CF Gym
6/28:
6x150m soft sand sprints 10minutes AMRAP: 10 thruster (10lb med ball) 10 pushup 15 unanchored situp 10 rounds 6/29: 30 muscle ups, 10 minutes 100 double unders, practice untimed Muscle-ups were without turning palms out at the bottom (still working on that). Rain made the rings slippery and the false grip hard to hold. |
