protein powder and green tea

All right nitrition expert I need some help. I love drinking a glass of unsweetened green tea and my question is the green tea crossing out my protein shake by detoxifying the wrong things in my body? Maybe I am going to deep on this I dont know. TIA

Shawn

Re: protein powder and green tea

i put on 70lbs of muscle while drinking loads of white tea (get it instead of green btw) and my gains were the same with or without drinking loads of white/green tea. in all my years of learning and researching tea i've never heard anything about it messing with protein uptake.

Re: protein powder and green tea

Shawn, simple answer: No. Sometimes I use green or white tea as a base for my protein shake, instead of plain old water. You might be over thinking this one.

Re: protein powder and green tea

I've been green teaing for about 2 years now. http://uptontea.com o yea!

These are the two I primarily drink:
https://secure.uptontea.com/shopcart...sp?itemID=ZG30
https://secure.uptontea.com/shopcart...sp?itemID=ZG20

Great stuff!!

I have not noticed anything but positive effect adding green tea to my overall nutritional intake.
