WOD: MURPHY sub row

Is doing murphy subbing 1 mile (1600 m) rows more or less difficult than run as rx'd?

Raining so hard outside today, I had to skip the run and do the rows instead. This was my first Murphy and so I don't know how it feels to run before and after the 100,200,300...

Traditionally you'd sub rowing for the same duration as a mile run (6 minutes, ten minutes, whatever your mile is). However, it's a bit of a poor sub in a case like this, because in reality the last mile tends to last a looong time when you have to run it

I sub 10 minute rows on either end. It's very true, though, that the first 10 minutes is faster than the last.

I dont think anything compares to running a mile after the first portion of Murph is complete.

Your legs are so heavy and dont seem to want to move in a running motion.

But if running is cpmpletely ruled out than rowing should be ok.
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything...
