Hey, I know I read a thread several months ago about this topic, based on women saying their quads are bigger and they are having a hard time finding pants to fit. I can't seem to find that thread in my searches. Wondering if any of those same women, or anyone new, would be willing to share with me the brands they find fit their awesome quads these days? I have a clients who is complaining about it and I told her to not feel like her legs are "TOO big!" They are awesome, beautiful, and athletic and to be proud of them, now we just need to cloth them...

Hi Lisa! :-)

Yeah, I just recently solved this problem after not wearing jeans for the last two years!

What I ended up doing was buying jeans in a size that fit my CrossFit Booty/Quads and then taking them to a denim tailor who took the waist in for me. I have never had jeans fit as well as these do now.

I wound up with a few different brands after going to an amazing sale in the Melrose district of LA -- made paying for the tailoring not so bad, since I got such a great deal on the jeans.

The other thing to do is tell them to find jeans with a bit of stretch to them. Lucky Brand jeans makes a jean called the "Sundowner" that's stretchy. When I was jeans shopping there once, the salesboy took pity on me -- came over to me and said, "You have a hard time finding jeans, don't you?" lol! I wasn't sure whether that was a good sign or not! But anyway, he told me about the Sundowners -- they're better than other jeans, but I still had the waist taken in to make them fit properly.

Jeans these days are made for chicks with stick legs, not girls with shapely legs and trim waists!

I think the solution is to stop wearing jeans. I vote for really short skirts. Or hotpants. Yeah, hotpants. Thats the ticket.

Hey Lisa,
Here are 3 of the previous threads on this topic - might have something useful in here. Not to suggest that Andy and Jordan are useless...:g:

This (thread) makes me feel funny, like when I used to climb the rope in gym class.

Best of luck ladies!

I'll have to run these ideas by my wife, as she has similar complaints. she's not a hardcore CF'er, but she's been hitting the squats, lunges and deads pretty hard.

I nicknamed her Quadzilla, which I thought was cute...until she punched me.
