I know almost everyone had some kind of resolutions or goals for this year. I am posting this to make myself stick to mine.
The end of March is my first benchmark (1/4 of the year) and posted below is where I want to be: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -15 overhead squats with bodyweight currently: 115 lbs - 70 lbs to go by the end of March: 135x15 or 150x5 -2 minute Lsit currently: 35 seconds by the end of March: 50 seconds -Rutman mile - 15 minute mile run with sandbag equal to bodyweight. currently: haven't tested in a while, probably 120lbs in 15min by the end of March: 140 in 15min or .5 miles with 160 in 7min -10 free standing hand stand push ups. currently: 4 top of head to floor against wall. 10 partial reps (almost to ground) also achieved. by the end of March: 10 nose to floor against wall or 1 freestanding nose to floor. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have really slacked off in the last month in working toward these goals. I hope I can make these benchmarks. How is everyone else's goals coming? |

Squat 300lbs
Current: 250 (last 5x5 was 195#) V-sit (currently about halfway up) Planche (currently I've got a good tuck planche) 5 handstand pushups (full ROM on paralettes, no wall) Current: 1 negative |

I set a bunch of goals at the start of the year and am making steady progress toward a lot of them, however some have turned out to be a bit unrealistic and will get reviewed soon.
Anyway here are some of the main ones year end goal, april goal, current ability row 2000 in 6:45, 7:00, 7:10.2 10 HSPU, 5, 5 Tear 1200 page phone book - done 3 minute L sit, 1 min, 30 seconds (i suck at these!) C+J 110kg, 100kg, 90kg but haven;t tested it for a while Snatch 90kg, 70, 65 |

I haven't really sat down and came up with all my goals, but here are a few I wrote down ...
- squat 405 again (currently 375x2) - front squat 315+ (currently 225x5, probably max around 275) - bench 350 (currently 325) - deadlift 550 (currently 525) - row 500m in <1:30 (currently 1:34) - row 1000m in <3:30 (currently, not sure) - run 1 mile in <10 (test after surgery) - fran <4 - ACHIEVED JANUARY 21, 2006 - fran <3 (currently 3:51?) - linda <20 (lol, last round was horrible) - angie <15 (currently 19ish?) - chinups 30+ (currently 29?) - bench 180(bw)x30 (currently 23?) - handstand pushup, no wall (very very close) |

This year's goals:
-2Xbodyweight D/L -Max AF PT test (1.5 mile run in 9:30 is my sticking point) -20 strict pullups -100ft handstand walk -Tabata squat score of 20 -reasonably stable L-sit to handstand on parallettes -multiple muscleups -sub-10 fran -20 cindy's Currently at 17 pullups, 11 minute fran, 17 Cindy's, 1.5Xbodyweight d/l, Tabata 18. |

mile run 6:30 7:00 6:49 2 m. run 14.00 15:30 15:45 muscleup 3 1?? working on it! Fran <4:30 5:00 ?? 5:18 Cindy 25 rnds 22?? 23 Helen <10:00 10:30 11:30 Squat 400 300 300 BP 250 225 250 DL 450 375 375 Snatch 135 115 115 C&J 205 155 165 pushups 75 70 80 situps 75 65 75 Pullups 25 14 17 Dips 25 14 14 Pushups and situps are done in 2 min time trial. Most these goals seem in reach with the exception of Helen..Man last time I did that one I went backwards!!! |

- 50 pull-ups (up to 38). Should make this.
- Bodyweight OHS 76kg. Up to 52.5kg. Might make this. - 100m walk on hands. Stalled with this. No more than 10 second hand stands - despite practising most days. - Keep bodyfat below 10%. Still ranging from 6.3 to 12.5% on the Tanita scales. Again, no real progress. - 20minute 5k run. Made it! Last time 19:53. With still some scope for improvement.
