Going to be up there for Christmas -- are there any reasonable gyms that sell day passes?

Hey John,
never been there, but from http://www.capecodtravel.com/attractions/beaches.shtml I see that they seem to have nice beaches up there - why waste your time in a gym? Better to do some mixed running stuff on the beach! Try a fun run on the beach with some tabata sprints or burpees mixed in, and then add a little gymnastics and tumbling (rolls, handstands, etc.) for getting crazy looks. Animal exercises (bear walk, chicken walk, etc.) are also a big hit at the beach. Just be sure to warm up well (no sprinting on cold tendons!), and have a thermos of nice hot tea nearby. And please be really careful if you are not used to running on uneven surfaces. Vacation time is the ticket to play outdoors! Cheers, Christian ... living in cold, rainy, and muddy Germany, far away from any beaches ... |
