I have only been doing this about 2 weeks and am already starting to notice some positive changes. All I have now are some before pictures which I will share. Like stated in my other posts I am a somewhat of a bodybuilder at heart in that I like to carry a little more than average muscle mass, but I don't really care to be huge. I am hoping crossfit will help me lose some weight and finally see my hard work paying off, which it seems to have already started doing. I also hope that crossfit will help me build mass in the winter if I up my calories a little above maintenence.

What I really want is to SEE the changes people have experience from these routines. If anyone wants to post some pictures up before/after style, it would be much appreciated.

Here are my before shots... Don't laugh at me!

I also have a lot of other pics on there...feel free to look around. The newest onces (the hyperlinked ones) are not in the proper folder, my bad.

cool, keep taking pictures as you progress and tell us how it goes.

i'm going to be introducing some friends of mine to CF when they get back from school. they've never participated in any serious training program, so i'm expecting some pretty amazing changes. we'll be taking before and after pictures, and doinf fitness testing as well, i'll be sure to post all that.

Re: Anyone have before and after crossfit pictures?

This may seem like I'm a kid with either too much time on his hands or a bit narcissitic (it's true. I'm starting to be proud of how I look) but ever since I've started consistently doing crossfit, I've tried to take a picture a day to see my results. The idea was to put together a video for myself for later on. Laugh it out if you want but it's a good way to keep motivated. I think to myself, "Man, I don't want to have to take the picture tonight and look lame. Better stop eating these cold pizzas and get up off the couch." Now although it hasn't even been a full month, I think I'm seeing some results.

or if you prefer to you tube it so your family and friends don't start asking questions as to why you have a video of some kid with his shirt off downloaded:

The video preview starts with DEC 2007 and begining of MAR 2008 pics (when i decided to take things a little more seriously) and progresses towards the end of MAR 2008. I'm hoping it inspires my friends / family to know that they too can get fit if they want.

Re: Anyone have before and after crossfit pictures?

This group of pictures shows the leaning out I did on a strict zone/paleo diet and the rebuilding of some muscle I did afterwards. I went from 225 to 168 in about a year, then back up to 175-180 over about 4 months. I've been able to maintain that weight for the last year.
