I just finished a sprint triathlon in Tiburon, CA and I cut 10 minutes off my time last year. I'm more proud of the fact that I only trained 4 days vs. 2 months last year. I had way more "kick" at the end of the race too. Just flying by people. What a compliment to CrossFit! THANK YOU!! Next year I won't do any triathlon training just to see my time.
Triathlons are now boring for me compared to the intensity and variety of Crossfit. CrossFit ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

That is outstanding! I loved that picture of Greg Admunson with the other triathletes. No disrespect meant to triathletes, but the skinny drawn look just doesn't inspire me to give their sport a whirl. Do you have any pictures to send to Crossfit? I've never heard of a sprint triathlon...what does it involve? |

A sprint triathlon is typically: 1/4 mile swim 10 mile bike 3 mile run Their fun to try because each event is manageable, but combination bike/run really does a number on your legs. I don't have any pictures to send, but thanks for asking. |

Congrats!!!! I have enormous respect for you even trying Crossfit...it is so counter to the standard training methods for triathalon it must have felt a bit weird jumping into this. WAY TO GO!! Robb |
