Well, I've done 3 CF workouts, 2 of those were with a group of CFers and I LOVE it!!!. I'm new to olympic moves (cleans, snatches, etc), so b/c yesterday was my first time doing snatches my elbows are a bit sore today. Just wondering if this is normal for first timers or if it's a cause from locking out my elbows too hard/much.
Thank you for your responses. Time to start posting my girly CF workouts on the W/o log thread. Cheers!

Probably too much arm in the snatches. Were you using weight? Have you learned OH squats yet? I would recomend the Burgener wam-up with PVC until you have the movement before loading. The snatch is extremely difficult to learn, let aone use it in a WOD the same day.

I usualy start people with dislocates, then OH lunges (locked out and reaching up) then OH squats (locked out shoulders in the ears) then Burgener warm-up then light load until there is consistency.

Make your extensors stronger in your forearms...this should fix it.
