I just had a car accident about 3 hours ago and I'm starting to feel tension in the upper back area, just under the neck between the homoplates. It's not really painful for now (only teasing), but it's spreading in width.
[I think this is called the "whip lash" effect - the other driver struck me from behind]

I can still perform free headstands but I don't think it's a good idea for now. Anyone knows exercises, stretchings or work outs that could help me recover faster ??

Some free advice: go see your doctor and get physical therapy. Not only is the neck a tricky body part that deserves specialized attention but you also need to document the injury in case you need to pursue a claim later (even much later). Without being alarmist, if ill effects show up 10-12 months down the road, you'll want to be able to get compensation from the other driver and it will be hard to do if you don't have a doctor document the injury.
