Hey hey hey Michael, don't send out that kind of bad news vibe. A model D for $300 happens all the time. And maybe he'll ship it for free too.

Eugene,

I also emailed him last night, couldn't believe there would be a D for $300. No response, though. I'm only about 40 minutes north, just over the border in NH so I would certainly make the drive. Oh well, looks like it's gone. David

haha! you're too optimistic eugene! or perhaps im too pessimistic; i just know i have no patience. i surfed craigslist and ebay daily for 2 weeks before giving up and ordering a new model D. ;)

for $300, i'd buy another D.. no clue what i'd do with it.. but, i'd buy it for that price :-)

You are probably correct on both counts. I don't think he wanted to bother shipping it and must have sold it to a local. I had the same problem as you and just ordered a new D but I want another one. Seems like a gym ought to have at least three ergs. I'll keep looking.

The perfect number for any piece of cool kit is given by the formula

N + 1

Where N is the number you already have :proud:

At least this is what my girlfriend tells me every time she buys another bike!
