New Pull-up Rig
My friend and I built a new rig for my gym. It has 4 12'9" bars for rings, pull-up bars at 7'6", 8' and 8'6", and 4 squat racks built in. I saw the rigs Rogue and Sorinex make and came up with something that would work best for us. The overall footprint is 16' x 6'.
I also went the cheap route on having platforms running across the gym by using OSB plywood and a couple coats of poly. Let me know what you think... |

Re: New Pull-up Rig
Legit set up. How much did it cost you to build that?

Re: New Pull-up Rig
Metal was $550, plus another $200 or so in misc stuff (drill bits, bolts, anchors, paint).
My friend's dad did all the welding for free, so I saved a bunch there. I would say by far, the most tedious and time consuming part was measuring, marking, punching and drilling all the holes... Here's a couple more pics. My friend and his dad getting the top part square to finish welding, and the parts delivered and ready to be assembled. |
