I am just coming off of an injury and can finally start working out again with no excuses. With that I would like to set a goal for myself outside of the work realm (my main goal is making the next SWAT tryout). I was wondering where the best information is to find out about adventure races, I'm in Florida if that matters at all. I'm not sure if there is a be-all end-all website for that info. Thanks....

Bobby: I'm not sure about adventure races in the Jacksonville area, but if you go to 1stplacesports.com, there is a 5k road race in the area almost every week. In fact, I'm hoping to run in one next week with one of our fellow crossfitters here in Jacksonville...I think it will be a cool thing to incorporate into our crossfit WODs.

BOBBY,

IF YOU ARE NEAR JACKSONVILLE TRY AND GET WITH SOMEONE FROM JSO SWAT. THOSE GUYS DO A LOT OF ADVENTURE RACES RIGHT HERE IN JAX.

GOOD LUCK
