Is the weight of the trusters the same for the snatch?
I can do more weight for thrusters than I can for the snatch. |

hmmmm, perhaps DB one-arm snatches-10 reps each arm, & thrusters-15 reps. Using a barbell would allow for a continuos workout, maximizing number of rounds. One would have to be so inclined to power snatch and "thrust" the same amount of weight for that. Very interesting. The 5 minute round interests me because that's about all the time I have to run my guys through a WOD with the time and equipment constraints that I have. I've been doing the 5 min. thing for a couple of weeks but not with those two movements...might work its way into a WOD soon.

John,
Let me know how it goes. You're right on using DBS for the snatch. Anyway, I think I'll call the WOD I made "Manila Mayhem" |
