Great work...Now that you're crossfitting - use the scale as one of MANY measurements. Focus on performance - the rest will follow.

Exclamation Re: Today I Weighed In at 199.6 "OnederLand Baby"

HI EVERYONE!!!

WOW Thanks SO Much for all the amazing support!!!!
You all are AWESOME!!!!

This week I really wanted to step my game up and start the "paleo" or "zone" but I have not

This week has been one of the hardest weeks in my life!
Last Tuesday my Grandma had a Stoke cause by a "Normal" Procedure she went in for...
Long story short in her "Living Will" she states she doesn't want to be a vegetable, so we have no other choice but to watch her die
Yesterday and Today have been the hardest on me!
She been without everything for 4 days now

I have Not been to the Gym and to be honest I've ate bad both days

I know I need to be strong but I'm finding it hard!!!

Tomorrow I do plan to go to the gym and try to get my head back in the game!
I'm really mad at myself for going back to my old ways by using food as my comfort!

Sorry in advance for a not so positive post!
Life can change in a blink of an eye!

-Take Care!

You definitely need to start a workout log. We have an entire section of this board for workout logs. Feel free to start yours! There's nothing like progress to push you harder. For example, today for strength, we did overhead squats. After doing a set with 53 lbs and trying to figure out where I needed to end up to get a PR, I flipped back through my written log and saw that my last PR was 43 lbs! Go ahead and wow yourself. Log every time, every weight, every set. Put your thoughts on it down in writing. You'll see your good days and bad days. Make every day a new PR! I'm 4 months in and I'm still not out of daily PR territory yet!

So sorry to hear about your Grandma. Sounds like you two are close. Thoughts and prayers as you go through this with her.

Don't beat yourself up too much about slipping--it's part of the process. It happens to everyone. Falling down is OK; staying down is not. Talking honestly about all you're going through is a good sign.

The coming days and weeks will be hard, but you'll make it in the end. Be there for your grandma, and then be there for yourself and those who count on you.

All the best, chica.
