Yep, poker chips work awesome. If you know you're doing a 5 round workout, stack up 5 chips and toss 1 in the bucket when you complete a round. AMRAPs, just the opposite. Plus, people dig it.

We use the chalk on the ground. It's really easy and shows that you actually clean because once the whole floor is covered than you know you definitely have to clean.

We use beer caps. I have members collect unique beer caps, not just your main ones. People find it different, but they like it. Each time they finish a round they go to the bucket grab a cap, and throw it down, and keep doing. I've heard of some people using wine corks as well.

I guess this is very much dependent on the type of floor. We use chalk on this diamond plate patterned flooring and wiping with a dry towel or even my hand seems to clean it up sufficiently.

Of course I can't speak for my coach.

We've been doing exactly this for 4 years and it works great, as well as adds an element of fun/play into the training.

All fantastic ideas. I hadn't even really thought of how important it would be for the clients to keep track themselves until reading this and thought about it. I am definitely on the hunt for a buttload of poker chips now!

Brilliant! .. I was so annoyed by taking the cap off when my hand is shaking.

I've seen, bottle caps, and buttons too. Bottle caps are easy to flip, and have an on and off side.. Throw some spray paint on them and they look pro. errr, until they get kicked, or bounced on.

.. I still like the idea of finger through marker line. I bet you could put small strips of white tape all over the place to keep count on too.
